New Supermarket in Waipukurau
Forme Planning obtained resource consent for Woolworths to construct and operate a new 3,400m2 supermarket in Waipukurau, central Hawkes Bay. The new store will deliver Woolworths’ full suite of modern services, including Pick up and delivery. The development will be accompanied by stream restoration works along the western boundary.
Agrivoltaics in Ardmore
Forme Planning obtained consent for the construction and operation of a new agrivoltaic solar farm in Ardmore, South Auckland. The project will co-locate over 18,000 solar panels and sheep grazing across 13ha, ancillary infrastructure, landscaping and the enhancement of wetlands and streams. The solar farm will support the domestic demand of the surrounding local communities in Ardmore and Clevedon.
Flat Bush Masterplan, land use and subdivision consents, Todd Property Group
Since 2016, Hannah has assisted Todd Property with the master planning and staged subdivision and development of 66 Flat Bush School Road, a greenfield site to the south of Ormiston Town Centre. The site is bordered by two streams requiring consideration of riparian reserves, planting and flood constraints. To date, resource consent has been obtained to construct 110 dwellings, with a further 200 dwellings planned for further stages in 2019.
Mixed use apartment building in Newton, Proxima Residences Ltd
Kay obtained land use consent for a 9-storey apartment building, including retail space and basement car parking on a site in the changing urban fringe suburb of Newton. The proposal was consented in the transition from the legacy district plan to the more enabling Unitary Plan and represented a catalyst for further regeneration in this central location.
New supermarket in Pokeno
Kay obtained resource consent from both the Waikato District and Regional Councils to enable Woolworths to construct and operate a new Countdown supermarket in Pokeno town centre. The consent application to the district council was publicly notified and Kay represented Woolworths at the hearing, alongside the wider expert team, to address issues in contention, namely transport, urban design and construction management.
New Primary School, Southwest Flat Bush
Forme Planning assisted the Ministry of Education in successfully confirming a designation for a new primary school in Flat Bush. The new school will cater to anticipated demand as the local area continues to develop. The designation enables education for years 0-8 and is intended to open in 2026. Forme Planning is currently involved in the project team to deliver the necessary resource consents and outline plan to authorise the school development.
